The HELD eVest 2 (with In&box) is the second version of HELD’s electronically activated airbag system. This update brings two key improvements: full mesh panels at the front for maximum ventilation and a D3O Level 2 back protector that adds passive protection to the active airbag system.
The eVest 2 system works autonomously thanks to the In&box module from In&motion. You receive the In&box module on purchase and activate the eVest with it immediately. You then have 48 hours to activate the system. The HELD eVest 2 requires a subscription. You can make the eVest 2 ready for use again after deployment by replacing the gas cylinder yourself.
You wear the airbag vest under your motorcycle clothing, close everything neatly via the central zip and the system activates itself. No physical connection to your motorcycle is needed. The In&box continuously analyses your riding behaviour with sensors and automatically deploys the airbag in case of a fall. The airbag protects abdomen, chest, back and neck. The deployment speed is 0.06 seconds.
The mesh panels at the front and rear promote air circulation, making the eVest 2 more comfortable on longer rides or in warm weather. On the inside, 3D air mesh panels on the back provide extra ventilation. Anti‑slip tape on the waistband keeps the vest in place. Stretch material ensures a comfortable fit that also offers freedom of movement.
The D3O back protector (Level 2, EN 1621‑2:2014) is the second major difference from the first eVest. This hard protection offers an extra safety net, even when the airbag does not deploy. Loops on the inner lining let you connect the vest to compatible motorcycle jackets via the connecting zip adapter (ART. 92390, available separately). The HELD Clip‑in Technology allows integration with other HELD products. The airbag system itself meets EN 17092‑6:2020.

The In&box module is included in the packaging and is free for test purposes for 48 hours after first use. This means you can ride home safely. Then, you register the In&box via In&motion and choose from two options:
Purchase option ‘Regular’: € 400 one‑off, including 2 years’ warranty, free software updates and the My In&box app (iOS/Android) to check battery status, connection status and updates.
Leasing option ‘Revolution’: € 120 per year or € 12 per month, including unlimited warranty, free software updates, My In&box app, no obligations (cancel anytime), replacement within 72 hours in case of problems, and the option to buy the In&box later.
Optional track or adventure mode: € 8 per month or € 25 per year. Activate this mode via the app for track or offroad use.
ADAC benefit: ADAC members get the first 6 months free on the leasing option and pay € 60 per year thereafter instead of € 120 (saving € 72 per year).
Refer‑a‑friend: refer a friend with your personal code and you both get 3 months free In&motion membership. Twelve referrals earn 3 years free (€ 360 saving).
In the packaging you find the eVest 2, the In&box control module and an inflator (gas cylinder). After airbag deployment you can make the system ready for use again yourself by replacing the inflator.
