The closure system determines how the airbag is secured to the body and ensures that it stays safely and firmly in place while riding. Different systems each offer their own advantages.

• Zipper: The most commonly used closure; quick and easy to fasten, providing a snug and reliable fit.
• Buckle / buckle straps: Extra sturdy and durable, ideal for intensive use or sporty rides.
• Velcro (optional): Sometimes used in combination with zippers or buckles to further adjust the fit and secure loose parts of the garment.
