This version of the OptiMate 4, the Quad Program PREMIUM edition is the most complete battery charger found on the market today.
It merges just about every OptiMate technology with regard to charging motorcycle batteries into one single package, ensuring proper maintenance of the high-technology 12V/12.8V battery in your BMW or Triumph, as well as the battery of any other motorcycle you wish to supply with power through a 12V DIN connection or directly. Lead-acid or lithium battery, it makes no difference for the OptiMate 4.

The autoactivation, ongoing maintenance until the charger is disconnected, safe desulphation at low voltage, all the classic elements have remained and were supplemented with software upgrades and a more organised layout. The efficient power circuit now delivers a charging current of 1.25 amps.
A fully automated multi-step (9) program safely charges the battery completely. Select based on battery type – 12V lead-acid or 12.8V/13.2 lithium LFP (LiFePO4) – and charging requirement to then count on the OptiMate 4 Quad program to take care of the rest.
There are four charging programs to select from:

To charge via the 12V DIN connection of BMW and Triumph, you need the O-19 cable accessory. Don’t worry, it’s included in the box. That’s where you’ll also find the water-resistant battery cable, battery clips and a hanging hook.
The OptiMate 4 Quad program will run a test before and after charging and is able to recover ‘dead-flat’ lead-acid and lithium batteries (LiFePO4) from as low as 0.5V.
You can use this device indoors as well as outside. The weather-resistant case with wall mount has a 180cm-long AC supply lead ending in an SAE connector.
