Advertising on partner sites

In order to optimise our marketing in terms of costs, but also to a large extent in terms of content, data on your behaviour as a user on various devices is collected and processed. This enables us to show you offers on third-party websites online that are tailored to your individual interests. You as a user benefit from this process, because when you visit other websites you'll see advertising that is more relevant and interesting to you.

Below is a summary of our partners:

1. Google AdWords Remarketing & Conversion tracking

Our website uses Google AdWords Remarketing functionality; with this we advertise our website in Google search results and on third party websites. Provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). For this purpose, Google places a cookie in the browser of your end user device which automatically enables interest-based advertising based on the sites you have visited. Your personal data will be temporarily linked by Google to Google Analytics data in order to form target groups.

This website uses the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, within the framework of Google AdWords, conversion tracking by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use the offer of Google AdWords to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising media (so-called Google AdWords). This way, we can determine how successful the individual promotional activities are, when we compare the advertising campaigns data. By doing so, we strive to show you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to ensure a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an AdWords advertisement displayed by Google. The information obtained through conversion cookies is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Clients learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a web page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that would allow them to identify particular users.

Google LLC may transfer personal data to the USA. However, Google is certified for the EU-US Privacy Shield which ensures that the level of data protection applicable in the EU is met.

Please note, however, that if you do so you may not be able to use all the features of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

2. Bing Ads

This website uses the conversion tracking technology 'Bing Ads' from Microsoft (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). Microsoft Bing Ads will place a cookie on your computer if you have come to our website via a Microsoft Bing ad. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies expire after 180 days and are not intended for personal identification.

The information obtained via conversion cookies is intended to compile conversion statistics; in other words, to record how many users arrive at a conversion page after clicking on an advertisement. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a web page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that would allow us to identify particular users.

Microsoft Corporation may transfer personal data to the USA. However, Microsoft Corporation is certified for the EU-US Privacy Shield which ensures that the level of data protection applicable in the EU is met.

3. Facebook website custom audiences ('Facebook pixel')

This website uses the 'Facebook pixel' of Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ('Facebook'). This allows tracking the behavior of users after they view or click on a Facebook ad. This process is intended to analyze the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and may help optimize future advertising campaigns. The data collected are collected anonymously and do not allow us to determine the identity of the users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its data policy.

Facebook Inc. may transfer personal data to the USA. Facebook Inc., located in the USA, is certified for the EU-US Privacy Shield which ensures that the level of data protection applicable in the EU is met.

4. Pixel cookies

Pixel cookies are installed on the RAD website, allowing RAD to track conversions that occur on the website as a result of advertisements from various sources.

For example, if RAD wants to track the progress of a particular campaign on an affiliated marketing platform, the cookie informs the affiliated marketing platform when a user has registered for a particular campaign on the RAD website.

The connected marketing platform compares the conversion event to the group of people to whom the ad was delivered or who clicked on it to provide RAD with useful information to understand the return on ad spend.

RAD also uses this cookie to profile the individual, but only for statistical purposes.

You can alter the way your browser accepts cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser.
