A good start is half the battle, especially for children who want to find a safe place on the back of the bike.

The Alexius Kids from Modeka are blue biker jeans. That means: sturdy denim with a few percent of elastane and above all: reinforcement. In this case this means DuPont™ KEVLAR® on the hips, knees and seat. The term motorbike 'jeans’ is, as always, a little misleading: this is more than just a pair of jeans.

And that's how it should be, of course. The 2% elastane allows for a slim fit so it can all be pretty tight. Those who wish can upgrade, in the form of SAS TEC hip and knee protectors. These specifically are remarkably flat and thin, which of course perfectly matches the 'slim fit' of the Alexius Kids.

You close the pants by means of a traditional button and zipper. The Alexius Kids has enough elasticity in the waist to last just a little longer than one ride and with the traditional five pockets found in just about every pair of jeans, there are no surprises there either.
