Hip protectors

The “Hip protectors” specification indicates whether hip protectors are included with the motorcycle jeans and, if so, which protectors are used. Hip protectors contribute to the overall safety of the jeans and are mandatory for AA and AAA certified models. When hip protectors are present, motorcycle jeans almost always use level 1 protectors because they are thinner and more comfortable while riding.

• Not included: the jeans do not contain hip protectors, which is often the case for A-certified models. Hip protectors can be purchased separately and added for extra protection.
• Included: the jeans come with hip protectors, the type and protection level of which may vary. This increases safety and is standard for AA and AAA certified models.
