The Worker from REV'IT suggests that you're out and about in shirtsleeves, but the critical observer will be disappointed: this is 100% motorcycle gear, and you'll be safe out there.
To be clear: strictly speaking (in Belgium) it is sufficient to ride with your arms covered. In your pyjamas, that is. The Worker lifts this to a higher level, although this doesn't mean you have to improve your lap time on the race track or spend a day on the motorway. This is a garment to tour around with, to make an occasional stop, to move around in town or to undertake a not too long ride on warm days.
Apart from that, the Cordura Canvas that makes up the entire outer shell is an abrasion and tear resistant material. Strategically placed PWR|Shield provides another layer of protection, should things go wrong. All in all, this results in a better, safer and stronger item than pyjamas. Nevertheless it stays light and ventilated to a certain extent. Especially when you know that the shoulders and elbows are protected by SEESMART™ level 2 (CE approved) protectors and that the press studs in the front conceal a zipper, then the Worker is closer to a motorcycle jacket than to nightwear. Those who wish to do so, can integrate a SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector - Type RV.
On the back you will find - next to, or rather underneath, permanent air vents - a very subtle and almost perfectly integrated dash of reflective material. The large side pockets close themselves by means of magnets and the chest pockets are equipped with press studs. The lining contrasts in colour with the plain, sand-coloured exterior and is green camouflage.
With a short connection zipper and a double belt loop you have just about all combination possibilities. Wearing a leather race pants with this, is not something we would do ourselves. Motorcycle jeans, sneakers (cover your ankles!) and a jet helmet, that to us seems to be just about the perfect picture.
