That we have not talked much about ventilation until now, is logical: the HJC i40 is a jet helmet. And yet ... top ventilation - sliding forwards and backwards - is there indeed. It is easy to operate by feel when wearing motorbike gloves and you can immediately ensure that your head is cool.
Keeping your head cool is never a bad thing on a motorcycle. Certainly not in the busy city, where the HJC is at its best. However, nobody will look at you funny if you make this your daily helmet in the summer. Handy, compact, versatile ... there are many advantages.

Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections of street lights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a worn visor as soon as possible. Planning a long trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
