The Horizon 2 is an allrounder with which you can effortlessly ride towards that horizon and the setting sun. Or the evening rain. It doesn't really matter. Not for the Horizon 2 anyway.
Sometimes, when something is very good, the technology is retained in variants and other applications. The Horizon 2 combines this jacket, a pair of pants with the same name and a women's version of with both.
And that's okay, because the Horizon 2 is a waterproof, laminated touring jacket that will keep you - even while riding - extremely ventilated. So it's ideal for commuters, motorcyclists, touring fanatics or just frequent riders. The outer fabric is PWR|shell 500D 2L, PWR|shell 1000D 2L and Lorica®. In human language: a mixture of strong seams and abrasion-resistant textiles. More abrasion-resistant where needed, slightly stretchy where useful. In a word: comfortable.
Especially since REV'IT has opted for a laminated hydratex® membrane, which ensures that the outer shell of the Horizon 2 absorbs minimal water. The Horizon 2 is light, comfortable, and quick-drying, no matter what you throw at it. Laminated means that the membrane cannot be removed. That does, however, apply to the removable thermal lining. The downside of a laminated membrane could be that the temperature rises quickly in certain circumstances, but then you open the Horizon 2's spacious mesh pockets on the chest. Thanks to this system you can easily change the jacket from fully waterproof to very ventilated while riding. To make sure all that goes smoothly REV'IT provides Fidlock® magnetic fixtures.
REV'IT is at home in tight, short-cut jackets. Even a touring jacket like this should fit snugly around the body. No flapping tarpaulin at the Dutch motorcycle clothing manufacturer. It's not that you don't have adjustment possibilities by the way: upper arms, underarms, collar, sleeve end, waist and double centering straps on each flank. The list is long, but that's what we're used to at REV'IT. The same goes for the additional Connector NEON vest that you can optionally add to your outfit. Not that the latter is urgent, since the laminated logos and stripes also reflect.
Impact protection then. We can be brief about this. The Horizon 2 has award winning SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 protectors on the shoulders and elbows and is prepared for the SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector. Short but efficient.
Add to that the array of pockets and stowage compartments, the collar hook, the short and long connection zipper and the almost obvious option to add a pair of Horizon 2 pants, and you're armed for just about any challenge you want to take on.
