The Night Breaker Laser is Osram's halogen motorcycle bulb for riders who want as much light on the road as possible. According to Osram, compared with the legal minimum standard, it gives up to 150 per cent more light, shines up to 150 metres ahead and its light is up to 20 per cent whiter. On a dark country road, you therefore see bends, potholes and crossing wildlife just that little bit sooner.
Because it is a halogen bulb with European ECE approval, you can fit it in your existing headlight without any modifications. Simply choose the same bulb type as the motorcycle bulb you are replacing.
If the original light pattern is sufficient, the Original Line is the simplest choice. If you are mainly after a whiter light pattern, take a look at the Cool Blue Intense.
A tip from the RAD house
Never touch the glass of your new motorcycle bulb with your bare fingers. Grease on the glass causes hot spots, which make the motorcycle bulb burn out sooner. If your motorcycle has two headlights, it is best to replace both motorcycle bulbs together, so they shine equally brightly.
Osram Motorcycle Bulbs
Osram has been a byword in vehicle lighting for more than 110 years. The German brand supplies bulbs directly to the major car manufacturers: according to Osram, half of all new passenger cars worldwide roll off the production line with Osram bulbs every year. In 1925, Osram also launched the Bilux bulb, the first bulb with two filaments for dipped beam and main beam in a single light source. That principle can still be found today in the headlight of countless motorcycles.
The motorcycle bulbs you buy separately come from the same production lines and follow the same quality control as the bulbs for car manufacturers. As a result, they comfortably exceed the European ECE minimum requirements.
Precisely because Osram is so well known, many counterfeit versions of its motorcycle bulbs are in circulation. Not only are these less durable, they can also blind or give too little light. At RAD, you only buy genuine Osram motorcycle bulbs.
