The Bodycool Smart X vest is a non-wet cooling undergarment that provides significant cooling while riding. The main difference compared to other cooling vests is that the Bodycool Smart X keeps the required water contained internally.

So, you do not soak this vest in water; you fill it instead. For that reason, a filling opening is located in the lower back area. Simply hold it under a tap, put it on, and you're ready to go—without getting wet yourself.

The physical principle is the same as with all similar cooling vests: evaporation and air circulation create a cooling effect. Thanks to its refillable design, this vest has a slightly different fit and construction than models that need to be soaked.

This “dry” Bodycool vest is not a motorcycle jacket in itself. It should always be worn underneath a ventilated motorcycle jacket. A ventilated jacket is strongly recommended. Since the wearer's body heat and the ambient temperature cause the water inside the Bodycool Smart X to evaporate through the outer layer of the vest, airflow is required to carry away the resulting water vapour and maintain the cooling effect.
