Upper-body protection worn under your jersey
The Alpinestars Bionic Action V3 protector jacket is a complete upper-body protection system, designed to be worn underneath your shirt, motocross jersey or even a jacket. In this third version, new removable A-Morph protectors for the shoulders, elbows, back and chest provide solid protection and absorb impact energy without compromising your freedom of movement.
Who is this protector jacket for?
The Bionic Action V3 is aimed at motocross and off-road riders who want a low-profile protective layer beneath their jersey, without sacrificing mobility or focus while riding. There are probably riders who wear it on its own too, although a protective motorcycle jacket does not provide the wear-resistance of a full motorcycle jacket.
Material & construction
A soft, highly breathable stretch-mesh chassis forms the basis of this protector jacket. The material adapts naturally to your body movements, providing stability and consistent protection in varied riding conditions. A central zip with YKK locking makes the protector jacket easy to put on and take off.
Protection & safety
Removable A-Morph shoulder and elbow protectors are CE-approved according to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1 and protect the upper body’s main impact zones. The removable A-Morph back protector is CE-approved according to EN 1621-2:2014 Level 1 and covers the full back. The removable split A-Morph chest protector is CE-approved according to EN 1621-3:2018 Level 1 and protects against frontal impact.
Thanks to the modular design, worn or damaged components can be replaced separately, extending the life of the protector jacket.
Comfort & fit
An adjustable elastic waist, elastic V-straps beneath the arms and adjustable side and shoulder straps allow you to fine-tune the fit precisely. An extended coccyx section provides extra coverage at the rear.
Ventilation
The open mesh construction allows air to flow freely through the protector jacket, limiting heat build-up during intensive rides and long sessions.
