The Scorpion EXO-Z1 Carbon Solid is a modern jet helmet for daily rides and summer jaunts. This motorcycle helmet is lightweight, comfortable and ECE R22.06 certified.
The carbon shell keeps weight low without compromising strength. At around 1,350 grams, this stylish open-face helmet feels nicely light on your head, even on longer trips. No chin bar of course, but the long wide visor offers solid protection from wind and the elements.
You even get two motorcycle visors. Three if you count the integrated sun visor. Alongside a clear and a dark visor, the EXO-Z1 Carbon has that too. Both are Pinlock ready for an anti-fog lens. Tool-free swaps and all visors feature anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings.
Top ventilation channels fresh air in, while rear outlets on the motorcycle helmet expel the heat. KwikWick III lining aids that airflow: removable and washable interior wicks moisture and feels soft. It is hypoallergenic too. The cheek pads accommodate most glasses and have cutouts for speakers.
The micrometric buckle below closes securely – easy even with motorcycle gloves. Cheek pads can be removed quickly by rescuers, though we reckon you'll mostly rack up trouble-free safe miles.
For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the exterior. To clean the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from streetlights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
