The Offtrack 3 H2O motorcycle jacket from REV’IT! is the successor to the Offtrack 2 and receives a major visual update. The design is rally‑inspired, with colour schemes that deliberately reference a number of iconic adventure bikes. Do not be fooled by the fresh looks though: in practical terms this remains a very versatile all‑rounder that works perfectly both on tarmac and off‑road. It is lighter and more agile than the Sand‑series motorcycle jackets the Offtrack is related to, while offering similar versatility.
The waterproof Offtrack 3 H2O is effectively three motorcycle jackets in one. Working from the inside out, there is a removable thermal liner. Above that sits the waterproof H2O layer from the name: a detachable hydratex|3L membrane that can be worn either inside the shell or over it. The outer jacket itself is constructed from Softshell, wear‑resistant 600D polyester ripstop, large ventilation panels and strategically positioned mesh inserts. Together, these elements create a well‑balanced package that combines protection, airflow and flexibility.
Those three layers can be combined as you see fit. The waterproof membrane can be used as an inner layer or as an over‑jacket, the thermal liner zips directly into the outer shell, or you run the classic 3‑in‑1 configuration. Every setup still provides solid protection against the elements, in all weathers and over any surface.
The rally influence is not limited to its styling. The Offtrack 3 H2O goes back to the core of adventure riding. The 600D polyester outer layer offers wear and tear-resistance, while 3D air mesh and PWR|Mesh deliver continuous ventilation. Everything is carefully balanced and positioned where it works best. Inside, a soft mesh lining adds comfort. The result is a soft, light and flexible motorcycle jacket that is easier to live with than you might expect from such a complete package.
The cut is slightly longer than a pure sports race motorcycle jacket’s. REV’IT! stays true to its philosophy: close‑fitting and snug without feeling restrictive. The motorcycle jacket wraps neatly around the upper body regardless of which combination of layers you choose. There is plenty of adjustment: cinch straps with sliding buckles at the sides, adjusters on the forearms, press studs on the upper arms, an adjustable Flexisnap collar and a drawcord at the hem. You adapt the Offtrack 3 H2O to your body, not the other way round.
Impact protection comes as standard in the form of SEEFLEX Level 2 CE protectors at shoulders and elbows, with the elbow protectors adjustable in height. The motorcycle jacket is prepared to accept a SEESOFT Level 2 back protector and SEESOFT Level 1 chest protector. Reflective details are subtle but effective.
Storage is more than adequate. There are two large front pockets (not fully sealed), two ventilation panels that in practice often double as a handy place to stash sunglasses, a generous cargo pocket on the lower back to store, for example, the membrane, and at least one internal pocket in each layer.
Short and long connection zips allow you to pair this motorcycle jacket with the matching Offtrack 3 H2O motorcycle trousers.
