The HJC F100 modular helmet is the latest evolution in HJC’s range of modular motorcycle helmets, featuring dual P/J homologation. Compared to its predecessor, the i100, the F100 is significantly lighter and more compact.
A key factor is the use of an AFC (Advanced Fiberglass Composite) motorcycle helmet shell instead of polycarbonate. The weight for a large motorcycle helmet size is 1680 grams, which is impressively light.
Building on HJC’s MotoGP expertise, the advanced ventilation system ensures efficient airflow throughout the F100. Both chin and top vents channel air through integrated ducts to air outlets at the rear. The chin and top vents are easily operated via a simple sliding mechanism.
The standout feature is the flip-up chin bar, providing versatility to use this modular motorcycle helmet either as a full-face or an open-face jet helmet. The mechanism is controlled by a central button beneath the chin bar, while a locking lever on the left side secures it in the raised position. Even with motorcycle gloves on, operating the system remains effortless.
Early issues associated with this motorcycle helmet type have been resolved, and there’s even room for further improvements. A practical innovation on the F100 is the newly designed integrated sun visor, which can now be adjusted in two positions with an 8 mm range of movement.
This allows you to tailor the sun protection to your preference. The clear HJ-45 visor offers 99% UV-A and UV-B protection and is Pinlock-ready.
This motorcycle helmet fully complies with the latest ECE 22.06 standard, ensuring enhanced safety through stricter testing for impact absorption, penetration resistance, and structural integrity of the chin strap.
Inside, the F100 features an antibacterial, comfortable, removable, and washable liner with cutouts at the temples for a glasses-friendly fit. The motorcycle helmet’s closure is a micrometric buckle, adjustable and integrated into a soft, wide chin strap. Together with the well-finished neck rim of this motorcycle helmet, this reduces the risk of whiplash and greatly improves comfort.
HJC offers a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the purchase date, or 5 years from the production date.

Maintenance tips:
- Are you reluctant to disassemble the interior of your helmet in order to wash it? You can also clean the interior without removing it with S100 Helmet Interior Cleaner.
- The outside and the visor of your helmet are best cleaned with S100 Helmet and visor cleaner.
Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections of street lights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a long trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
