Double homologation

Double homologation means a modular helmet is tested and approved both as an open-face (jet) helmet and fully closed (full-face) helmet under legal safety standards. This allows riders flexibility to wear it open or closed without compromising protection, offering extra comfort and versatility for various riding conditions. Helmets without double homologation are certified only as full-face helmets and thus provide no official safety guarantee when worn open.
