The Gianni Falco Lennox 3 Lady is a women’s motorcycle shoe that looks like a streetwear sneaker but meets the requirements of a CE‑certified motorcycle shoe. This version is anatomically designed around a female foot shape for an optimal women‑specific fit. The nod to classic basketball trainers is still present, yet beneath the casual styling there is more protection than you might initially expect. That makes the Lennox 3 Lady a strong option for motorcycle riders who prefer not to draw too much attention to their motorcycle gear.
The full‑grain leather has been oil‑treated to keep the material supple and add some protection against (light) weather conditions. A thick leather‑look sole forms the base of this women’s motorcycle shoe and gives it a robust appearance. Gianni Falco uses an ‘Air‑Tech’ ventilated liner on the inside, which makes the Lennox 3 Lady a motorcycle shoe best suited to warmer conditions. It is not waterproof, though splashes or a short shower should normally be manageable.
Safety is centred around the D3O ankle cups that protect one of your most vulnerable joints. Heel and toe are not backed by dedicated hard panels, but the sturdy construction still makes the Lennox 3 Lady far more substantial than an ordinary sneaker. The rubber sole offers good grip and underlines the sporty, urban character of this women’s motorcycle shoe.
You can step in via the long laces or, more quickly, via the (inside) zip. After closing the zip, you tuck the puller away behind a small Velcro tab so it cannot scratch your motorcycle. Once you have parked up, you can simply carry on walking, as the Lennox 3 Lady does not immediately stand out as a motorcycle‑specific shoe. You can wear these just about anywhere.
With the Lennox 3 Lady, Gianni Falco takes another step forward. Production has moved to Italy (‘Made in Italy’), accompanied by a number of internal refinements. Quality and finish clearly benefit. The result is a women’s motorcycle shoe that combines genuine protection with a relaxed look at an attractive price. Team it with a good pair of motorcycle jeans and a casual leather motorcycle jacket and the overall picture is spot on.
The higher the fashion level - and the level of ‘we don’t really look like motorcycle shoes’ -, the smaller the chance your leather shoes have a full-fledged shifting reinforcement. No problem on a scooter but on a motorbike, the multitude of shifting will quickly cause wear and tear. A shame of the leather shoes because this “wear and tear” will not often be incorporated in the warranty conditions.
You’d better take precautions, give yourself a hand or a foot in this case and add an extra layer to your leather motorcycle shoe or your gear lever. There are a number of options available in our range.
