The GMS Acamar WP is a waterproof entry-level touring motorcycle jacket that continues GMS’s typical budget-friendly approach. This high-quality motorcycle jacket combines an accessible price with a solid package of core features.
The outer material is made from Tactel polyamide, a relatively soft fabric that prioritises comfort over extreme wear resistance. Motorcycle clothing of this type is not intended to offer race-suit level durability. The integrated, non-removable GERMATEX Z-Liner ensures waterproofing and windproofing, combined with decent breathability. A removable thermal lining makes this motorcycle jacket suitable for changing weather conditions. AirVent openings at the back, under the arms, and on the sleeves provide cooling when needed, with water-resistant zips to open and close them.
The clear touring fit offers some adjustability: an elastic waist belt provides basic comfort, while the sleeves feature two Velcro straps. The sleeve ends and collar also close with Velcro.
Large stretch inserts at the flanks make this motorcycle jacket compatible with airbag systems, if needed. For your protection, adjustable and removable shoulder and elbow protectors are included as standard; all CE Level 1. High-impact zones are reinforced with an extra layer of wear resistant nylon. This motorcycle jacket carries an AA rating according to EN 17092-3:2020, highly respectable for a budget model.
In terms of storage, there are double front pockets, a chest pocket, and a larger rear pocket, all zipped. Inside, additional valuables can be stored.
Short and long YKK connection zips allow combinations with GMS motorcycle trousers.
