SAS-TEC 3D Back protector SC-1/15 (XL)

Since 2004, Sas-Tec has grown to be a name with fame when it comes to protectors. They are the partner of a number of motorcycle clothing brands, and don't leave many opportunities to be innovative.

The two strong men behind the German protector manufacturer are experienced motorcyclists and testers themselves, which has a lot to do with that.

In any case: this Sas-Tec back protector is a sturdy one. More than an inch thick there is little doubt whether it is in place: you can feel it. Although, less than you would think because made of visco-elastic foam this 3D back protector immediately 'settles' to your body. It is not a static shell on your back, but a shock-absorbing extra protection that can make all the difference in the event of a fall.
