This summer-friendly yet relatively long touring motorcycle jacket from GMS combines modern material knowledge with practical functionality. The FiftySix.7 Long is excellently ventilated and specifically designed for motorcycle riders who prioritise comfort and protection.
This is the longer version of the ‘regular’ FiftySix.7 by GMS.
This motorcycle jacket is made from wear-resistant GERMADURA 600D material (100% polyester), forming a strong textile outer layer that provides the first line of defence. The impact zones are reinforced with an additional protective layer. Highly durable mesh fabric (also 100% polyester) provides generous airflow and covers large sections of the front and sleeves.
These large mesh panels ensure optimal airflow on hot days or during intensive rides. A large stretch insert at the side of the torso enhances freedom of movement and comfort.
The GMS FiftySix.7 is airbag-ready, so upgrading your personal protection is always an option. The height-adjustable shoulder and elbow protectors are CE-approved and removable for cleaning or replacement. These Level 1 protectors provide a reliable level of impact absorption without compromising mobility. The motorcycle jacket is certified to EN17092-4:2020 (A), meeting all essential safety standards.
The cut is intentionally longer than you might expect. Most mesh motorcycle jackets are designed short — not this one. The waist width is adjustable for a tailored fit, and the sleeve cuffs are secured with dual Velcro straps and zips for a snug seal. Dual front pockets and a large rear pocket offer ample storage.
The short (20 cm) and long (70 cm) connection zips (YKK 8VS) allow for various pairing options, and with the Belt Loop adapter, you can also connect the FiftySix.7 Long to a good pair of motorcycle jeans.
Below you will find an overview per jacket size of the appropriate CE homologated SAS-TEC back protector.

What you see is (almost) what you get. What else, because a mesh jacket always aims at being as non-existent as possible. The sleeve ends with Velcro and a zipper are already one of the practical ways to customise it. Other than that, there’s the short and long connecting zip and the option to combine it with decent motorcycle jeans.
