The Richter by Segura is a ventilated summer motorcycle jacket that will also keep you high and dry when needed thanks to the additionally supplied raincoat. That’s always a handy bonus, as is the combination of the retro style and the modern-day comfort, making out Segura’s identity as a whole.
This motorcycle jacket has been specifically designed for men and was given the so-called body-fit cut. This means you get a short, light and relatively well-fitting motorcycle jacket made of Fibre Tech 600D and Hard Mesh. Both materials are composed of 100% recycled fibre that offer exceptional resistance and a generous suppleness.
Focus lies on summer rides and ventilation, which is never a limitation. In case all those light and summery plans would collide with reality, Segura anticipates this by offering a waterproof over-jacket with the Richter. Yes, you read that correctly: a watertight jacket, in a convenient carrier bag, to simply pull over the Richter in case of need.
The customisation options are limited to a series of pushbuttons in the waist.
The removable elbow and shoulder protectors by ALPHA are EN1621-1 Level 1 certified. If you want, you can fit in an optional back protector. With two outer pockets, two inner pockets and an additional Napoleon pocket, there’s plenty of space to keep the necessities near. This is, however, not a touring jacket designed to hold half of your belongings.
The collar, shoulders with their (more or less) diamond stitches and the mesh panels all in one colour results in a retro style that almost begs to be combined with decent motorcycle jeans and motorcycle sneakers.
