The Shark D-Skwal 2 or Dark Skwal 2 has the DNA of the Shark Skwal. With the exception of the built-in LED lights and in this case - the SHARK D-Skwal 2 - with new ventilation, a new spoiler and a new interior.
This motorcycle helmet is made of thermo plastic that is injected under high pressure which creates a very strong, light and safe helmet shell. The D-Skwal 2 is suitable for both urban use and long distances. An auto-seal system ensures that the visor fits perfectly against the rubber, making the helmet significantly quieter. The cutouts in the interior at the height of the temple make this motorcycle helmet suitable for spectacle-wearers.
Note the spoiler: it is tighter and more aerodynamic than its predecessors.
The integrated sun visor is easy to operate via the left visor mount. Besides the standard transparent visor, there are also tinted visors available for the D-Skwal 2. These are ideal when you want to give your helmet a personal touch. With the included Max-Vision Pinlock the visor does not fog up and you maintain an optimal view in all weather conditions. A treatment on the outside of the visor with Rain-X anti-rain spray improves visibility during rain showers. To prevent the visor from fogging up, the helmet is equipped with a nose cap.
The top and chin vents are easy to operate with gloves on. The airflow entering through the top ventilation is distributed by the channels built into the inner shell. With the D-Skwal 2, the ventilation has been rethought, providing a better and more pleasant feeling.
Also the - still comfortable - lining is new. BIRD EYES is the name of the revised, new interiors that will be used by Shark in a number of successful helmet updates starting in 2020. Washable, removable, comfortable ... these features are only made even better.
The motorcycle helmet is fastened by means of a Microlock, which is very precisely adjustable. A wind catcher chin and a well-elaborated neck edge prevent driving wind and disturbing sounds to enter the motorcycle helmet.
The D-Skwal 2 has recesses in the inner shell to mount intercom speakers. In the box are the necessary reflective stickers for France to stick on the helmet.
For maintenance of this helmet, we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the outside. For cleaning the interior without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner.
