Macna is an expert in electrically heated motorcycle clothing. So it should come as no surprise that this MACNA Cloud wraps itself around your upper body like a warm and fluffy cloud, providing a soft temperature at the same time.
Its operation is a bit more technical than the above text suggests. The body warmer can be controlled via Bluetooth using the Macna HEATED app. Note: when you install the app, it will ask for permission to use your location. If you refuse, the connection between garment and app can be problematic.
If you prefer a less Bluetooth-connected lifestyle, you can also control the Cloud using the regular button.
The Cloud is sold without a power supply. To power your Cloud you can choose between a battery, or a cable. Both options can be purchased separately.
The battery can be either 7,4V or 12V Li-Po. Beware, these are NOT the same as for the Macna gloves. A 12V battery performs better in cold weather, but does not last as long. The 7.4V battery gives less heat for a longer time. A lot also depends on the heat level (set by yourself).

If you prefer to use the motorcycle battery, then you need three cables: a power cable (here you can choose between a battery cable, a cable to a lighter plug or a cable to a DIN-plug like on a BMW), an adapter cable and a spiral extension cable. If you also want to connect heated gloves jacket to the motorcycle battery, you will need a splitter cable and an extra extension cable.
This heated vest consumes maximum 3,4 Ampere.
’Warm' comes in different intensities and degrees, but also the specific place where the heat manifests itself, plays a role.
Here we are talking specifically about the back, chest and neck.
It goes without saying that the heat, once present, is distributed, which - more than the warming of a single spot - provides the best effect.
The body warmer itself consists of 5% feathers and 45% down. The rest is polyester. Two zippered pockets allow you to keep your hands nonchalantly in your pockets while you admire the passing clouds in the biting cold. You can wear the Cloud under a jacket or use it as a stand-alone piece of clothing.
