The Citycruiser is a new, innovative jet helmet. The name gives away a bit about where you can use it and what you can do with it: cruising in the city. Although: many commuters will certainly find this a summery alternative to the full-face helmet.
The protection level is high. You immediately notice this by the shape of the jet helmet, where the jaws still enjoy almost full protection. Shark calls this a new model of jet helmet and there is something to be said for that.
The outer shell is made of thermoplastic and two helmet shells contain all helmet sizes. This makes for a compact whole that fits remarkably 'around' the head. Few protruding elements, no unusual shape, just the essence. In style at least, because underneath there is a lot of hidden technology.
First of all, there is the transparent visor: anti-scratch, with an anti-fog construction and a slightly protruding shape, it provides a very wide field of vision. And good protection, because it extends far at the bottom. In addition to the transparent visor, you can also count on the assistance of an integrated sun visor with UV380 label. On the left, the slider that emerges from under the visor mechanism cover ... yes, that's the one. Easy to operate and stylish. Despite the cover (which is easily removable), the transparent visor is equipped with a Microlock system. The toolbox can stay in the garage.
The interior is antibacterial, made of recycled fibers, removable, washable and equipped with the 'EasyFit' cut-outs which make it easy and comfortable for glasses-wearers. There's bitterly little to say about it, in other words - we stick to: very, very good.
With a style that just about vacillates between futuristic and classic, and a level of protection that goes way beyond 'the bucket’, the Citycruiser is a jet helmet to be reckoned with.
The micrometric buckle is adjustable and, like the rest of the motorcycle helmet, finished with an eye for detail.
To clean the outside of your helmet we can recommend S100 helmet cleaner. The helmet interior can also be cleaned (without removing it) with S100 interior cleaner. A treatment on the outside of the visor with Rain-X anti-rain spray improves visibility during rain showers.

Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night scratches cause a blinding reflection of streetlights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a long trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
