We don't know of many lighter motorcycle pants that meet all the requirements to belong in this category. The Eclipse from REV'IT! is a featherweight pair of summer pants that accompany the jacket of the same name.
Or you just wear them when you don't want to wear anything else. This is minimalist, comfortable, and in that very fine way actually just perfect. Not in all circumstances. The mesh that makes up - except for the seat, the knees and the waist - almost the entire Eclipse, is a summer product. Every drop passes through, every breeze you feel. That's how it should be. About the quality of the durable material there is little more to tell than that it is indeed that: quality. And wear-resistant. Not to improve your laps on the track, but to 'just' ride it. Every day. In the summer. The A-rating matches a lot of motorcycle jeans, although the Eclipse is actually lighter.
The style is a bit dressier. The extensive use of mesh prevents it from becoming too classic, but with a 'relaxed' fit, two side pockets and two back pockets, a snap button, zipper and belt loops, this is not a phenomenal attention grabber. Quietly, not too conspicuously doing its job perfectly, something like that.
The hip protectors are optional (SEESMART®) and the standard SEESMART® knee protection is adjustable in two heights.
Underneath, you won't be looking for zippers, or ways to pull the Eclipse over other pants. These motorcycle pants stand on their own, and are so light and comfortable even when stationary that you just keep wearing them.
