This helmet comes standard with a clear visor. Tinted and mirrored visors are available as options.
This SCORPION EXO-930 has double homologation and is therefore a real 'traveler'. Versatile touring use, it's obvious. But also scooter use, because the chin can be removed. The double P/J-homologation - as full-fledged full-face helmet and as full-fledged jet helmet - is interesting and well thought out. Pay special attention to the red P-button behind the left hinge of the visor: it blocks the chin piece in the open position. We think that's a good idea.
SCORPION manufactures the EXO-930 in polycarbonate, with two helmet shells accommodating all motorcycle helmet sizes. The slider of the top ventilation can be operated perfectly with or without motorcycle gloves.
The transparent visor is ready to attach a Pinlock® lens with Maxvision, which you will find in the box as well. With the term 'Speedview' SCORPION is looking in the direction of an integrated sun visor. The slider can be found at the bottom left.
Kwickwick 3 is about the interior: fully removable, washable and hypoallergenic, this helmet interior regulates internal moisture management in a way that is more than reassuring. Even in warm conditions, by the way. When you read the word 'Kwikfit' in a text about SCORPION motorbike helmets, as a wearer of glasses you know that you can rest assured: this motorbike helmet is perfectly equipped for that, with cut-outs for your glasses.
A wide and well-fitting neck rim and the adjustable micrometric closure illustrate that attention was paid to the details. The wind curtain chin is removable.
The SCORPION EXO-930 comes with a five-year warranty.
For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the exterior. For cleaning the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from streetlights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
