It always feels like crossing the finish line just about every time with one version or other of the Reef motorcycle gloves. A nice feeling, also because these light, summery motorcycle gloves combine a lot of grip and steering feeling with a level 1 CE certification.
For those who are less fond of the checkered flag: there are many options and versions, for men and women.
The basic material - a specific construction of stretch mesh - provides a lightweight motorcycle glove with lots of breathability. Contrary to that, they are of course not waterproof. Not really a problem, because these are a very outspoken summer choice.
The palm consists mainly of synthetic suede. Hardwearing for sure, and with very good grip. There are plenty of rubber elements on the palm. And these in turn are good for even more wear-resistant properties. We notice some kind of vicious circle coming up, but a positive one.
The back of the motorcycle glove has a knuckle protector. Underneath the mesh and therefore not too noticeable, but very effective indeed.
The Reef glove is and remains simply Alpinestars: an ergonomically preformed thumb (to prevent tired hands and for flexibility), an index finger which operates just about every touch screen, and a short cuff with velcro strip.
Purely summery, light, convenient, comfortable and safe. At a competitive price.
