A new standard even, according to some. The outer shell is a combination of carbon, aramid and glass fiber: strong and light (all three, yes) and therefore everything you may expect from a modern motorcycle helmet. With three helmet shells to suit all helmet sizes and four different sizes of EPS inner shells, AGV guarantee just about the perfect fit at the lowest weight. Fully equipped - visor and sun visor included - the AX9 tips the scales at 1600 grams.
However, you do not have to use that configuration. Visor and sun visor (1), visor without sun visor (2), without visor but with peak (3) and without visor or peak (4), there are four different configurations. If you add cross goggles, we count at least six. That's more than the national football team has mastered. Whether northbound, southbound, left, right, in winter, through mud or over asphalt, AGV AX9 adapts.
The transparent visor is of course anti-scratch and Pinlock®-ready. The 100% Max Vision Pinlock® lens is included. Spectacle-wearers need not worry and AGV makes a point of making the field of vision as large as possible. There is a micro-opening system, which is used more often, that allows for a small gap. Special attention went to the aerodynamics of the sun peak: you don't want to 'sail', you want to ride.
A dual sport or all road bike is often used in more intense circumstances, where 'air' is indispensable. That's why ventilation is at a high level: the chin piece offers more space and the big air vent in the front is one that you can easily open and filter. That's called customizing. A double top vent is lockable and offers a healthy airflow when open. This leads seamlessly along the well-thought-out interior, which is moisture wicking and ends in a detailed, water-resistant neck rim. Removable, washable, ventilated and equipped to accommodate a communication system, it doesn't get much more complete than that.
The Double-D ring closure is one you can count on. Adjustable and equipped with a soft finish.

For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the outside. For cleaning the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from streetlights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
