The theme of the Target jackets (besides this Air there's also an H20-version) is 'as black as possible'. And when it's done right, the result is quite nice.
The Target Air is a summer jacket with a lot to offer. The flanks and sleeves remain a good and solid base, to which a lot of mesh was suspended. The Target Air doesn't hide the fact that its roots lie somewhere in the racing world, although you can't expect track performance from a vented jacket. With a pair of shoulder tabs and plenty of Monaco performance cowhide leather as key exterior features, it's mainly in the style. A style that - from a distance mostly black - still contains quite a few details and nuances.
Most of the Target Air jacket is made of 3D air mesh, and that's still enough to give the wearer a safe and real 'motorcycle feeling'. You're still wearing a motorcycle jacket, and you’ll know it. Of course, the leather is a big part of that, but things like the removable lining, the velcro straps on the waist and the very nice collar and sleeve ends (in rib knit) also help. The removable lining extends the Target Air's possibilities a lot. Chilly mornings, spring, autumn ... you don't have to limit yourself to those few extreme summer days.
The result is actually a racing jacket that is very well ventilated. With all the logical protection material: SEESMART™ level 1 protectors on the shoulders and elbows are standard. A SEESOFT™ level 2 back protector and even a SEESOFT™ level 1 chest protector can be fitted if you want to emphasize the sporty character of the Target Air.
That's not necessary. You can just put on a pair of jeans and go for a relaxed Sunday outing. A short connection zipper and the Belt Loop keep almost every option open. Also note the fine play of colors in the laminated reflection material.
