This (third) update of the Ignition Lady is a sporty-looking summer jacket with prominent leather pieces and a removable waterproof membrane. With a removable thermal lining this is something for everyone. A top product, for the occasion tailored to women.
Starting at the beginning. The short Ignition 3 Lady has a standard touring cut. With a clear REV'IT signature, which means it should be short and tight. No flapping along the way. The shapes of the female torso - slightly different – were taking into consideration for this development. The materials used each have a purpose. Monaco performance cowhide leather ensures resistance to wear and tear and a distinctive sporty leather look. The dynax mesh material on the chest, arms and back is both water resistant and breathable. PWR|shell 500D-stretch fabric ensures a good fit. As if that wasn't enough for one jacket, Ignition 3 has a removable body warmer and a removable hydratex® membrane. ‘Can be used in all - and I mean all - circumstances', is what they call it.
If neither summer nor winter are a problem, protection is an important criterion for ranking a jacket among the top sellers. With SEEFLEX™ Level 2 CE shoulder and back protection REV'IT! doesn't miss a beat here either. The jacket is prepared to easily fit a SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector and safety seams are used throughout, making the jacket strong and durable. Reflective material is usually limited to logos and names at REV'IT!, which is no different here. On the other hand, if they perform at the same high level, good visibility in adverse conditions remains a certainty.
The Dutch motorcycle clothing manufacturer prides itself on anatomy, ergonomics, tight fits and therefore many adjustment possibilities. Velcro on the waist, press studs on the sleeve ends, a double press stud on the collar are the most striking features and they are more than enough to make the ‘engineered skin' fit even better than it already did. Ventilation zippers - at REV'IT! these are VCS zippers - on the underarms are present as well.
Add to that the fact that there is plenty of storage space in the form of two zippered pockets, and a document pocket on the inside of the chest and inside pockets in both jacket and bodywarmer, then this looks like a very complete and versatile jacket.
