The Italian brand Premier - passionate about helmets since 1956 - is so impressively beautiful that we couldn't let it pass. Admittedly it requires an acquired taste, but once you enter the world of the Trophy MX, Le petit, Vintage and Rocker, you're sold.
Premier offers light, compact helmets with a clear retro look, and combines this with a decent and up-to-date interior. With the nuance that in this case 'retro' often really is retro. For a long highway ride through all kinds of weather, there are better alternatives. For an excursion on a café racer drenched in engine oil and leather there are not. Simple.
And yet. Of all Premier helmets the Rocker collection is most characterized as a modern jet helmet. The proverbial streak of vintage is certainly there, but the lightweight has also been given a lot of contemporary features.
True to the basic ideas of the Italian manufacturer, these remain very light and compact jet helmets. Total weight is around 950 grams. All helmet sizes fit in one helmet shell which is made of thermoplastic. The result is a comfortable lightweight at a competitive price. It also earned them the ECE 22.05 safety label.
The helmet shell has been given a modern relief finish which is also to be found elsewhere. With a built-in sun visor that can be operated with both hands, you will come a long way. Ventilation openings are of course superfluous. Goggles of all kinds are always an option.

For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the exterior. For cleaning the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches or dullness cause blinding reflections from streetlights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip?
