GIVI X.20 Expedition Solid White

The GIVI X.20 is a competitively priced but solid flip-up helmet. Ideal for those who want to experience the comfort of a full-face helmet during the ride and who prefer the convenience of a flip-up helmet after coming to a halt.

It comes in three versions: matte black, matte anthracite and glossy white and can easily be seen as the improved successor of the X.16 Voyager.
The helmet shell is made of a (light) polycarbonate and the different helmet sizes of this model all fit within the same helmet shell. A double closable front vent and an equally closable chin vent, complemented by a wide non-closable rear vent, guarantee that you keep your head cool at all times. You can easily operate the ventilation opening with gloves. Pay attention, because just below is the control button of the chin piece. Clearly different, but still ... That chin guard is also easy to open and close.

The X.20 Expedition comes standard with a transparent and scratch-resistant visor. Mounting or removing is quick and easy, thanks to a quick release system. An internal and tinted sun visor can be opened when needed thanks to a simple mechanism, operated from the side of the helmet, and stored away again just as quickly. The installation of a Pinlock lens is optional.

A length-adjustable micrometric buckle keeps the helmet perfectly in place. The soft chin strap increases wearing comfort. The neck rim, supplemented by an extra chin strap, promotes sound insulation and reduces the risk of whiplash and the inconvenience of too much riding wind. The helmet's snug-fitting liner - easily removable and washable - is custom-made and hypoallergenic.

The X.20 Expedition is equipped with a breath deflector to prevent fogging. A set of reflective stickers is not included in the box. The application of these stickers is mandatory in France.

For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the outside. For cleaning the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.

Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches s cause blinding reflections from streetlights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
