GIVI X.20 Expedition Solid Matt Black

The GIVI X.20 is a competitively priced but solid flip-up helmet. Ideal for those who want to experience the comfort of a full-face helmet during the ride and after standstill, having the convenience of a flip-up helmet.

It comes in three versions: matte black, matte anthracite and glossy white. It is the improved successor to the X.16 Voyager.
The helmet shell is made of a (light) polycarbonate and the different helmet sizes all fit within the same helmet shell. A double lockable top ventilation in the front and an equally lockable chin ventilation, supplemented by a wide, non-closable ventilation outlet at the back, guarantees a cool head at all times. You control the ventilation openings easily, even with gloves. Pay attention, because just below is the chin guard operating button. Clearly different, but still ... That chin guard is easy to open and close.

The X.20 Expedition is standardly equipped with a transparent and scratch-resistant visor. Mounting or removing is quick and easy, thanks to a quick release system. An internal and tinted sun visor comes out thanks to a simple mechanism, to be operated on the side of the helmet. It pops up when needed and can be stowed away again just as quickly. The installation of a Pinlock lens is optional.

A length-adjustable micrometric buckle ensures that the helmet stays perfectly in place. The soft chin strap increases wearing comfort. The neckband, complemented by an extra chinstrap, enhances sound insulation and reduces the risk of whiplash and the nuisance of wind noise. The snugly fitting lining - easy to remove and washable - of this helmet is custom-made and hypoallergenic.

The X.20 Expedition is equipped with a breath-deflector to prevent fogging of the visor. The box does not include reflective stickers, which are mandatory in France.

For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the outside. To clean the interior without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.

Safety above all! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches or dull visors cause blinding reflections from street lights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. In rainy weather this effect is even more pronounced. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
