The Missile V2 is 'version 2' of the Missile, which was already good. In this case that means more flexibility and visually even sportier, although the predecessor did little effort to hide that it was preformed sporty racing pants.
And why? Alpinestars earned more than the proverbial stripes on the tracks, so you're right for racing pants. Made of very durable full grain leather, with reinforcements in the vulnerable areas that significantly extend the life of the pants. Stretch fabric at the inner knees and in the groin area enhances flexibility. Accordion panels above the knee add to this. Washable mesh lining with stretch panels provides extra comfort and plenty of room to move. Preformed racing pants are tight, but in the Missile V2 you can literally move in many directions.
The pants are CE approved and composed of several panels which are put together with safety seams for extra durability. The replaceable Alpinestars kneesliders are quick and easy to attach with velcro. CE protectors are placed on the knees. Hip protection Nucleon KR-H (level 1 certified) or Nucleon Racing KR-HR (level 2 certified) is optional.
The back is finished higher than the front, which is closed with a zipper, a snap button and a slider. This slider ensures that the pants never open by themselves. The waist circumference is adjustable by a few centimeters by means of 2 velcro straps. The pants have a side zipper at the bottom up to halfway the calves, which makes them very easy to get into.
Supple, flexible and optimally equipped, this is a racing pant as you may expect from a top manufacturer.
The Missile V2 is equipped with a long connection zipper, so it can be connected to all leather Alpinestars jackets. The zipper is full length, which means that the other loose end can be stitched into a jacket of your choice.
The Missile V2 is a showpiece and exists (only in the black version) in a long and shorter version. Alpinestars also produces a female version, clearly recognizable by the 'Stella' in the name.
