The Shark Drak exists already. The Shark S-Drak is an improved and renewed retro jet helmet. The producer calls it 'Neo-retro' himself, because this is really a contemporary and up-to-date helmet. One that is close to the custom/naked bike lovers, although everything is possible.
It's a jet helmet, although it does come with a removable chin guard which gives the S-Drak a more full-face look. You can click it off or on in a few seconds.
The first thing you notice when you pick up the helmet is its light weight, just under 1000g. Two helmet shells for different helmet sizes play a role in this, as does the carbon fiber (aramid) from which the helmet is made.
Ventilation openings in a jet helmet would be a bit too much. The opposite is less true: with an integrated sun visor and the extra chin piece you don't just give the whole thing a different look, in terms of protection against the elements this surpasses the average jet helmet. That visor is scratchproof, fog-proof and equipped with a Microlock system. The washable and removable lining is antibacterial and moisture-repellent. Those who wear glasses will be happy with the 'shark easy fit' cutouts. The chin strap has an adjustable micrometric closure.
The S-Drak comes in different versions, of which the black carbon-look is the essence. The S-Drak does not come standard with the removable sun visor found on the X-Drak, but it is compatible with both helmets. You can order it separately.
For maintenance of this helmet we recommend S100 helmet and visor cleaner for the outside. For cleaning the interior, without removing it, you can use S100 helmet interior cleaner. New visors have received a water-repellent treatment. This treatment is less effective after some time. Restore the water-repellent effect with Rain-X anti-rain spray.
The reflective stickers required in France to stick on the helmet are included. Remember to register your new Shark helmet after purchase on http://www.shark-helmets.com and benefit from a 5-year warranty*. Use the code found on the warranty card that comes with every new Shark helmet.

Safety first! Never ride with a scratched or dull visor. Especially at night, scratches cause blinding reflections from street lights and headlights of oncoming vehicles. This effect is even more pronounced in rainy weather. It is best to replace a scratched or dull visor as soon as possible. Planning a longer trip? Then don't forget to take a replacement visor with you. Never ride in the dark with a tinted visor.
