Lenses that adapt to the conditions are no luxury on a motorcycle. Glare, the sun, light and shadows ... Oxford’s Transformer glasses combine two technologies that solve many of those unpredictable situations: polarised lenses that filter horizontal light reflections from a wet road surface, and photochromic adaptation that automatically adjusts the tint according to light levels. That means you do not have to swap, adjust, remove or stow anything away while riding.
What about comfort and protection?
The polycarbonate lenses of the OXFORD Transformer Polarised are impact- and scratch-resistant, and provide full UV-A and UV-B protection. They comply with the ISO 12312-3:2022 sports eyewear standard. A soft foam edge on the inside sits comfortably against your face and keeps wind and dust out, even on longer rides. That foam ring is removable. Ventilation slots are also present, so you never get a cramped feeling with these motorcycle glasses. The adjustable elastic head strap keeps the glasses in place, even without the temples needing to clamp tightly. Want a more ordinary style? Then simply leave the elastic strap off.
And if you wear prescription glasses?
Anyone who wears prescription glasses gets a practical solution with the included clip-in insert. Clip it behind the main lens and have an optician fit your prescription lenses into it. That makes the Transformer suitable for a wide audience: motorcyclists, passengers and also other sports users who want to deal with sun and wind on the move.
