• Group tracking: Use the Tread® app on your smartphone and/or zūmo XT3 device to track friends with the group ride mobile feature (mobile coverage required). Or, for rides outside of cell coverage, use the Group Ride Tracker accessory with the Group Ride Tracker Y-adapter (each sold separately) for tracking other riders equipped with compatible zūmo or Tread® sat navs.
• Find new routes: Find new routes with the great rides feature on the Tread® smartphone app; bookmark them, and they will automatically sync to your device. You can add difficulty ratings and upload photos to share with other riders.
• Visual route planner: Plan a custom route on the device, or use the Tread® app with a compatible smartphone. Select custom routing features such as curves, hills or scenic byways. You can also import your own route via GPX, KML or KMZ files.
• Drag race timer: Record your 0–60 mph time and your 1/8-mile and 1/4-mile times with an active Garmin Performance Package.
• Lap time review: See your lap times, race metrics, delta times and lean angles through each turn and more with an active Garmin Performance Package.

• Satellite imagery: High-resolution satellite imagery shows vivid overhead views of your route and surrounding terrain to help you navigate. Download the maps directly to your device via Wi-Fi® technology. No subscription required.
• Music and directions: Keep your headset paired to your phone, then control your music or hear turn-by-turn directions from your sat nav. Turn prompts will be sent to your headset through the phone.
• Traffic and weather: Access real-time traffic and weather, share routes with other riders, and get phone notifications via the Tread® app.

• Outdoor Maps+: With an active Outdoor Maps+ plan, get ongoing access to a variety of premium mapping content, including Adventure Roads and Trails for turn-by-turn routing when you venture off-road. Content is regularly updated and delivered directly to your device.
• Michelin® scenic routes: Discover unforgettable rides with MICHELIN® scenic routes; easily integrate them into your journey with the visual route planner, or ride them spontaneously by selecting the highlighted green route directly on the map.
• Track recorder: Record your ride data — such as speed, distance, lean angles, acceleration and more — and share the details with friends on the Tread® app.
• Manage your data: Easily manage tracks and routes across your sat nav and compatible smartphone by using the Tread® app.
• Rider alerts: Get alerts for hazards, such as upcoming sharp curves, speed changes and more, along your route. You’ll also be notified about state helmet laws.
• Incident notifications: If an incident is detected, a text message with location information is automatically sent to your predetermined contact.

• Blind-spot monitoring: Pair the sat nav with your zūmo™ R1 Radar system (sold separately) for rearview and blind-spot monitoring. The external lights increase your visibility to others on the road, and the system can show surrounding vehicles right on your sat nav's display.
• Handlebar controller: Get more convenient button control of your map, and keep your hands on the handlebars while riding, when paired with your wired handlebar controller accessory (sold separately).
