The Bauxite H2O is part of REV’IT!’s latest backpack range and builds on the lessons learned from the brand’s earlier experience. This 18-litre motorcycle backpack is packed with compartments and practical features, offering considerably more capacity and organisation than you might expect from its compact volume.

Waterproof main storage
The main compartment of the Bauxite H2O is a 12-litre, fully waterproof roll-top compartment with a removable, washable Hydratex inner lining. Release the Velcro edge at the side to access the mounting point for a 3-litre hydration bladder, with openings on both sides for the drinking tube and elastic retainers on both shoulder straps to keep that tube in place. The same roll-top compartment contains a padded sleeve for a laptop up to 14 inches, with a separate organiser pocket in front of it. For items that need to be accessed quickly, there is also a second, 2-litre waterproof roll-top compartment.
Extra storage, not waterproof
In addition to the waterproof compartments, the Bauxite H2O offers another 4 litres of non-waterproof storage. At the front, there is an asymmetrical compartment with a double zip, a zipped mesh pocket and a zipped organiser pocket. An external Hypalon EPO net with elastic cord provides additional storage for items you want to stow quickly. The backpack is prepared for a hydration bladder of up to 3 litres.
Carrying comfort
An adjustable waist belt and chest strap keep the Bauxite H2O stable on your back, even during more active riding. Reflective inserts improve your visibility in the dark.
Waterproofing, realistically framed
To be clear, the Bauxite H2O is not a fully waterproof backpack, but one with robust waterproof compartments. The main compartment, quick-access compartment and laptop sleeve are fully waterproof. The extra 4 litres of storage at the front and in the external net are not, so it is best not to store moisture-sensitive belongings there when rain is expected.
Dimensions
The Bauxite H2O measures 34 x 16 x 50 cm and offers a total capacity of 18 litres. It will not hold a motorcycle helmet. However, the shoulder strap does provide a mounting point for a GoPro action camera.

The Bauxite H2O is clearly the result of a brand learning from its own experience. The combination of waterproof and non-waterproof compartments is well thought out: your valuables stay safe while your everyday items remain easy to reach. It does not rain every day, after all.
For some riders, not being able to carry a motorcycle helmet may be a drawback. Then again, ask yourself how often you actually use a motorcycle-helmet storage compartment in a motorcycle backpack. Perhaps it is not a priority?
For anyone looking for a compact, functional backpack for commuting or day rides, the Bauxite H2O is a strong choice. Its compact size is an asset, while it still carries a genuinely useful amount.
