The MODEKA Jano Air is a true summer motorcycle jacket, designed with ventilation as its core feature. This mesh motorcycle jacket is made for motorcycle riders who want maximum airflow in hot weather, without compromising the protection expected from a proper motorcycle jacket.
The outer shell is built from CE Class AA polyester fibres (EN 17092‑3:2020), using 600D fabric as the main structure. In this category, that AA certification is worth highlighting. The most striking feature of the Jano Air is, of course, the extensive mesh panels, delivering continuous airflow across the body. Ventilation zips aren’t necessary here: the entire motorcycle jacket breathes.
To add versatility, MODEKA includes a removable HydroFlex membrane. Thanks to the In&Out system, it can be worn inside the motorcycle jacket or over it, depending on your needs. Waterproof and breathable in both cases, though naturally not designed for extreme winter storms – which would make little sense in a pure mesh motorcycle jacket like the Jano Air. MODEKA recommends the Jano Air for riding conditions between 15°C and 40°C.
The fit of the Jano Air is ergonomically adapted to the motorcycle riding position, with some degree of stretch to enhance comfort. The cut of the Jano Air is made to avoid being overly tight, while carefully preventing unwanted flapping, an important detail in a mesh jacket. Press studs on the upper arms allow you to fine‑tune the volume, while an adjustable drawcord in the membrane offers added flexibility at the waist. When worn over the motorcycle jacket, the membrane remains just as effective.
Reflective details are integrated discreetly, visible only when conditions call for them. Protection is handled by Keepech Level 2 protectors at the shoulders and elbows, which are height‑adjustable. A pocket is provided at the back for an optional SAS‑TEC back protector.
