The SPIDI Traveler 3 Evo H2Out motorcycle jacket—yes, the name says a lot—is the latest evolution in the Traveler range. Designed for comfort and reliability, it also offers outstanding value for money.
This touring motorcycle jacket is constructed from a blend of durable polyester with ripstop reinforcements. In terms of performance-to-weight ratio, it scores highly: offering solid protection without the bulk. A removable 150 g/m² thermal liner and an integrated H2Out membrane in the outer shell of this motorcycle jacket provide waterproofing, wind resistance, warmth, and breathability.
Both the front and rear of the motorcycle jacket feature adjustable ventilation openings to regulate airflow. While effective at cooling, the integrated membrane hints at its limitations—the Traveler 3 Evo isn’t a motorcycle jacket aimed at high-summer riding.
SPIDI’s ERGOFIT system ensures an optimal fit, with adjustability at the waist, arms, and forearms. Additional refinements like collar snaps and waist cinch straps allow for fine-tuning. Storage space reflects the jacket’s touring DNA: the thermal liner has a dedicated stash pocket at the lower back, while the large front pockets are ideal for everyday use. Extra internal waterproof pockets are included too—though we’ll leave that claim with SPIDI.
In terms of protection, the Traveler 3 Evo comes equipped with CE Level 2 Warrior Light armour at the shoulders and elbows as standard. A pocket is included to fit an optional back protector. Combined, these features help the jacket achieve its Class AA certification (EN 17092-3:2020) for motorcyclist protection.
Practical details round off the package: 3M reflective material enhances visibility at night, and a YKK connection zip lets you pair this motorcycle jacket with the matching motorcycle trousers.
