This motorcycle jacket combines the rugged, practical side of tactical wear with a modern design and solid motorcycle protection. It is ‘combat wear’ for the practical urban rider who prefers to blend into the surroundings.
The streamlined construction is inspired by survival wear and military gear, with a vest-style layout that integrates multiple functional pockets. At the same time, you cannot ignore the parka character of the design. This is definitely not a traditional motorcycle jacket cut. The Mospher WP focuses on generous storage, easy access and a relaxed fit that suits everyday commuting.
The fully taped, 100% waterproof integrated membrane delivers protection in wet weather and comfort during rainy rides. The outer shell is a coated ripstop fabric, reinforced with 300D ripstop in high-wear areas such as elbows, sleeves, hood and lower back.
A front drainage channel and metal eyelets provide fast water evacuation in heavy rain, preventing the Mospher WP from acting like a sponge. For a commuter jacket, waterproofing is not a detail but a requirement, and it also helps to be able to step indoors without turning the hallway into a pool.
The regular adjustable fit of the Mospher WP is naturally comfortable and relaxed. With adjustment on the sleeves, hood, cuffs and hem, you can personalise the fit as needed. This is not a tight sports motorcycle jacket, but a parka you can wear comfortably all day long.
The hood anchoring system with press stud secures the hood at the back of the motorcycle jacket to prevent flapping at speed. It also incorporates an inner collar within the hood that adds wind and draft protection for extra comfort. When you do not need the hood, you can simply roll it up.
Large direct-vent zips on the sleeves and rear outlet openings promote airflow and improve comfort when temperatures vary. That starts with the difference between a cold morning and a warm afternoon, but the removable thermal vest (a sleeveless thermal liner) extends that range across seasons. Spacious chest and hand pockets, a waterproof (although we’d prefer the term water-resistant) left front pocket and a waterproof internal pocket provide secure storage for personal items.
The Velcro sunglasses loop and sturdy zip pullers clearly draw on military design, while the reflective logos remain discreet in daylight. Many of the visible details are primarily functional for daily use rather than purely aesthetic.
Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 shoulder and elbow protectors are flexible, ventilated and low profile, offering effective yet discreet impact protection. A back protector is available as an optional upgrade.
