The fourth-generation Andes Drystar motorcycle jacket builds upon a proven touring format. This textile touring motorcycle jacket combines waterproof performance with all-season versatility.
Its main shell is made from durable 450D reinforced polyfabric, with ripstop textile reinforcement at key impact zones such as the shoulders, elbows, and forearms. The integrated Drystar membrane delivers full waterproofing and high breathability. A removable thermal liner, with 100 g insulation in the body and 80 g in the sleeves, makes the Andes v4 suitable for a wide range of temperatures. The ventilation system includes extended, direct air inlets under the arms that provide efficient airflow while riding.
Pre-curved sleeves with stretch panels enhance flexibility and comfort, while the three-quarter length remains characteristic of a motorcycle touring cut. The slightly elongated back offers extra coverage in the typical riding position.
Fit adjustment is generous. The Andes v4 Drystar includes Velcro waist straps for centring the fit, a collar drawcord, snap buttons on the biceps, Velcro straps on the forearms, and adjustable wrist closures.
Storage is extensive, with multiple water-resistant outer pockets, two internal pockets, and a large rear utility pocket. A hydration hose loop on the chest completes its long-distance practicality. The water-repellent cargo pockets feature an integrated quick-access compartment.
Nucleon Flex Plus shoulder and elbow protectors are CE Level 1 certified according to EN 1621-1:2012. Integrated compartments are provided for optional Nucleon Plasma chest protectors and a Nucleon Plasma back protector. This motorcycle jacket is Tech-Air Ready, meaning it’s designed to be compatible with Alpinestars’ Tech-Air Airbag Systems.
A waterproof VISLON front zipper provides smooth and secure closure, while reflective inserts enhance low-light visibility.
Fully CE-certified to EN 17092-4:2020 (A Class), the Andes v4 Drystar motorcycle jacket pairs perfectly with the matching Andes v4 Drystar motorcycle trousers for a complete touring outfit.
