The outer shell of the ATLAS B-20 Advanced Backpack combines wear‑resistant 1000D polyester with 420D polyester ripstop in areas where flexibility and compactness matter. The base is made from 1 mm Hypalon for maximum strength, and the front panel uses 0.6 mm Hypalon. A fully removable waterproof inner liner with roll‑top closure keeps your gear dry, while four compression straps stabilise the load and keep the volume under control.
The ergonomic back panel and shoulder straps use 3D mesh for ventilation and comfort. The magnetic Fidlok V chest buckle snaps closed automatically. You fine‑tune the fit with twin Duraflex Xlite Sliplocks at the top and twin Duraflex X‑treme Tensionlocks at the bottom. A removable hip belt with Duraflex Xlite Mark II buckle adds extra stability on the bike.
In simpler terms: the ATLAS B‑20 Advanced Backpack sits securely on your back. When you want to use it as a tailbag, you remove the shoulder straps and attach the motorcycle bag to your subframe or luggage rack with the supplied G‑hook straps and connector loops.
The modular system lets you link multiple ATLAS bags vertically or horizontally via the MOLLE loops on the bag. That way you can build a (soft) luggage setup tailored to your trip: a second ATLAS backpack stacked on this B‑20, or a combination with ATLAS tour packs for multi‑day tours. All attachment hardware (connector loops, central straps, G‑hook straps and security strap) is included with the motorcycle backpack.
Practical touches include quick access via rear and side zipped pockets, a PU‑coated mesh side pocket for drying wet gear, a discreet internal pocket for ID or bank cards, and a separate sleeve for a hydration bladder with hose routing. YKK Aquaguard zips with glove‑friendly pullers, reflective details front and rear, and a contrasting inner lining to improve visibility inside the compartments are all present.
