The Alpinestars Nucleon Plasma Racing Chest Protector is designed to protect the chest in the event of an impact. It combines a semi-rigid central section with flexible, viscoelastic Nucleon PLASMA material, which absorbs impact energy and distributes forces over a larger area. The extended side wings provide additional rib protection. Its ergonomic shape and flexible construction ensure comfort during sporty road riding and track use.
While many motorcyclists routinely wear a back protector, chest protection also deserves attention. The Nucleon Plasma Racing is CE-certified to the European standard EN 1621-3:2018, Level 2, the highest protection level defined by this standard for chest protectors.
The innovative Nucleon PLASMA material is viscoelastic and incorporates bio-based material. It adapts to the body's movements and absorbs energy on impact. Its perforated M-shaped structure promotes airflow and helps dissipate heat. A soft inner lining enhances comfort and helps maintain the protector's structural integrity. Silicone ribs on the inner surface help minimise movement and keep the chest protector in place.
Compatibility and sizes

The Nucleon Plasma Racing is available in three sizes: S, M and L. It is supplied as a separate protective insert.
