• Sport: focused on sporty riding and high performance. Sport motorcycle shoes and boots fit snugly, have reinforcements in critical areas, and provide maximum control and protection during dynamic and fast riding.
• Touring: developed for comfort on long distances. Touring models combine good protection with wear comfort, often featuring waterproof materials and an ergonomic fit for hours of riding enjoyment.
• Urban: designed for everyday city use. These models often look like regular shoes but feature discreet reinforcements and offer a good balance of protection, comfort, and casual style.

• Yes: the footwear is equipped with a reinforced panel at the point of contact with the gear lever. This increases durability and protects the material from premature wear.
• No: the footwear does not include a dedicated gear shift reinforcement. This may be sufficient for light use, but offers less protection against wear from gear shifting.

Ankle protection indicates whether the footwear features additional protective elements around the ankle, a vulnerable area in the event of a fall or impact. Depending on the protection level and materials used, the following options are available:

• Yes: the footwear includes standard ankle protection that provides added support and protection for everyday riding.

Shin protection indicates whether the footwear features additional protection at shin height, a vulnerable area in the event of a fall or impact. Depending on the material and protection level, the available options are:

• No: the footwear does not include specific shin-height protection. This allows for more flexibility and comfort but offers less protection in case of a fall or impact.
• Yes: the footwear includes standard shin protection, providing added support and protection for everyday riding.
• Yes TPU: equipped with shin protection made from TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), a rigid and durable material that provides excellent resistance to shocks and impacts.

Ventilation indicates how well the footwear allows air to circulate and keeps the foot cool while riding. Depending on design and materials, there are three options:

• Perforated: the footwear features zones of mesh fabric or perforated leather, allowing air and wind to enter actively. These models are not waterproof and have no membrane, but provide maximum ventilation.
• Ventilated: the footwear includes breathable textiles or openings that let air circulate, keeping the foot cool. These models are also not waterproof and have no membrane, but offer comfortable ventilation in warm weather.

Because there is a wide variety of outer materials, no fixed option list is used here. The specific outer material is listed individually in the product specifications for each model.

The membrane determines whether a shoe, boot, or sneaker is waterproof and breathable. There are two options:

• None: the footwear is not waterproof and contains no membrane.
• With membrane: the manufacturer has used a waterproof and breathable membrane in this model. The type of membrane may vary, providing protection from external moisture while allowing internal moisture to escape.
