Description

A 'bung' is traditionally a cork for sealing a barrel. In this case, Oxford chose the same name for a handy accessory that performs much the same function.

A bung is placed in the exhaust of your motorcycle when you're going to wash the bike, and before you start spraying water. It prevents water from getting into your exhaust, with all its consequences.

Don't forget to remove the bung afterwards, preferably before you start the bike!

The Bung 2 is designed for the limited diameter exhaust of a two-stroke engine. For the larger diameters of a four-stroke engine, there is the Bung 4.

Diameter Bung 2:

  • Minimum diameter: 1.5 cm
  • Maximum diameter: 3.7 cm
