Description

A 'bung' is traditionally the cork used to seal a barrel. In this case, Oxford chose the same name for a handy accessory that performs much the same function.

A bung is placed in the exhaust pipe before you hose down your motorcycle and/or wash it. This keeps water from entering into your exhaust pipe, and causing all sorts of problems in there.

Don't forget to remove the bung afterwards, preferably before you start the engine!

The Bung 4 is designed for the typical exhaust diameter of basically every four-stroke engine. For two-stroke motorcycles, with their generally less wide exhaust pipe, the Bung 2 exists.

Bung 4 diameter:

  • Minimum: 3.3 cm
  • Maximum: 6 cm
