It's too warm for a motorbike jacket that can also be used throughout the autumn, but as a commuter you never know what the day will bring. Et voilà: the Torque. A summer jacket with waterproof - removable - membrane.
By the way: as a traveler, touring rider or just a biker who rides from terrace to terrace, you never know what to expect. A lot can change in a hundred kilometers. In a few hours even more. That is why we find the Torque is quite an enrichment. A positive addition to the arsenal of motorcycle clothing.
The exterior is mesh. It doesn't get any lighter, as long as you want to ride safe and protected. The shell is the jacket you wear when it's too hot to wear a jacket. It's all mesh, interrupted only here and there by a minimum of fabric, because you have to have zipper, a collar and sleeves. And it's safe, too, because it's fitted with a set of SEESMART™ CE Level 1 protectors on the shoulders and elbows.
Underneath you find the removable hydratex® G-liner, waterproof, light and breathable. And extremely handy if you get caught out by a shower or a cold front.
Short, clean, the REV'IT cut is typical, and this jacket is no different. Even though the fit is not particularly sharp. No flapping sails, just comfortable. Those who feel the need can easily add a SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector. The reflective material is subtle (during the day for sure) but definitely present.
You can still adjust a few things yourself, thanks to the velcro strips with loop on the waist, the double press studs on the upper arms and the velcro strips on the sleeve ends. Two side pockets with zippers provide the necessary storage space.
The Torque has no connection zipper, but does have a double Belt Loop. The combination with a good pair of jeans seems an obvious choice.
