This medium tankbag is perfect for day trips.
At the top there is a special storage compartment for your smartphone. This tankbag can only be mounted on a tank lock mounting ring. You can find the right tank lock mounting ring for your bike here. A supplied, adjustable safety strap for extra fastening around the steering head guarantees that the bag stays in place at all times. The main storage compartment features a long zipper with two pulls. By bringing the openings of both pullers together, you can close the tankbag with a lock. A mesh panel in the preformed lid allows for additional division. On top there is a transparent window (8 cm x 16,5 cm), for easy reading of a smartphone. The access to this transparent storage compartment is inside, which protects the smartphone in question better against weather conditions. The smartphone can be operated from the outside. An extra removable cover ensures longer life of the smartphone storage compartment.
The Givi ST603 is made of molded EVA and laminated 1000D polyester. A separate rain cover is included. The presence of a handle allows the tankbag to be taken along effortlessly at a stopover. Reflective details increase visibility in the evening and at night.
Standard this preformed Givi is 34 cm x 25 cm x 24 cm, good for a capacity of 15 liters. Folding it out is possible by means of a zipper all around, which brings the measurements to 34 cm x 25 cm x 30 cm. The capacity is then 18 liters.
Attention! Tanklock tankbags are mounted onto the petrol cap, and that cap is - if all goes well - standard in one place. That means: you can't really 'move' with a tanklock bag, like you can with magnetic bags, you can choose whether you place them higher or lower on the tank. Short nakeds with a relatively small fuel tank and large tankbags that use tanklock, this can cause a conflict at handlebar height. In any case: more luggage space should never be at the expense of better handling.
But ... there are solutions. The bigger the tankbag, the more flexibility it usually offers. The mounting ring of the tank latch system can - in certain cases - be moved. Not meters, but enough to create space and safety.
This medium-sized tankbag can be moved in three positions at the attachment ring. This means you can bring the bag a bit closer to you, creating more space for the handlebars. By loosening - and of course tightening again - four screws, you create a better position on the tank.
This tankbag is standard equipped with a cable grommet, through which you can connect electrical devices with a motorcycle mounted plug during the ride or with the GIVI USB hub. Or vice versa, when you want to link an electric device (on the handlebars) to a powerbank (in the tankbag).
