The Arc Air Lady is a very feminine summer jacket. Don't be fooled by the pink accents: the feminine element is first and foremost in the centered cut.
The summer version of the Arc H2O drops the reference to waterproofness from the name. Choosing is always a bit of a gamble, and being highly ventilated doesn't go together so well with being completely waterproof. Apart from that: this is a summer jacket with a racing pedigree (certainly visually), that keeps your upper body sufficiently cool and yet optimally protected.
Short, sleek, REV'IT's cut is typical and it's no different here. No flapping, just a good feel. The exterior consists of a mix of wear- and tear-resistant materials. Sleeves, flank, and (slightly longer) lower back are made of 600D polyester. The front and back, as well as the inside of the sleeves, form the PWR|Shell in mesh fabric.
The chest and the upper back consist of 3D-mesh. The result is optimal airflow over your entire upper body. Riding wind as a cooling factor, it still works.
Protection is always good. SEESMART CE-level 1 protectors on the shoulders and elbows guarantee fall protection. You can easily add a SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector if required. Reflective material is subtle (during the day for sure) but definitely present.
You can make some adjustments yourself, thanks to the velcro strips with loop on the waist, the double press studs on the upper arms and the velcro strips on the sleeve ends. Two zippered side pockets provide the necessary storage space.
The Arc Air has a short connection zipper and a double Belt Loop. The combination with a good pair of motorcycle jeans seems an obvious choice.
